California is one of the most important wine regions. If it were a country, it would be the fourth largest wine producer worldwide. Californian wines are characterized by their fruit-forwardness due to the reliably warm weather.

This wine is the perfect pairing for meats that have sweeter sauces and marinades. Honey garlic chicken wings, sticky barbecue ribs, and burgers with ketchup or barbecue sauce are excellent choices. Also pairs well with meat pizza, chocolate cake, and blue cheese.
