The blend that made Australia famous. Cabernet Sauvignon’s structural intensity perfectly complements the ripe fruit and chocolate flavors of Shiraz, for rich, complex and hearty red wine of outstanding character.

This wine features notes of blackberry, dark chocolate, liquorice, and smoke.

First drawing international attention for its famous fruit-forward Shiraz, Australia has since garnered a reputation as a nuanced producer of a wide range of wines in a variety of styles. Generally speaking, the wines are bold, fruity, and full-flavoured.

In terms of food pairings, think barbecue. Ribeye, sirloin, or a classic burger and fries are excellent choices. Not a big meat-eater? Portabello mushrooms with lots of butter will make a good Cab shine. Hard cheeses like aged cheddar or gouda are great options too.
