Tasting Notes:Soft, velvety, and sophisticated, this Merlot is smooth, fruity, and elegant. Juicy plum and raspberry meld with savory spice, smooth tannins, and oak, creating a lush, polished texture. The dry finish invites another sip, making it a wine you’ll want to enjoy again and again.
Region & Winemaking:Located in the eastern portion of Napa Valley, the Stag’s Leap District is renowned for producing some of California’s finest wines. Rock facades reflect the sun’s heat onto the vineyards, while cooling marine air from San Pablo Bay flows through the district in the afternoon. Combined with nighttime air drainage from the surrounding hills, this creates warm days and cool nights, allowing grapes to achieve excellent balance of acidity and sugar and extending the growing season.
