Tasting Notes:
Ripe cherry, plum, and red berry flavours are complemented by subtle toasty oak, vanilla, and spice. Soft tannins and lively acidity create a smooth, balanced mouthfeel, making this wine both elegant and approachable.
Region & Winemaking:
Solano County is part of California’s world-renowned North Coast AVA, alongside Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino. While less famous than its neighbours, Solano boasts a rich viticultural history dating back to the mid-1800s. Cooling breezes from Suisun and San Pablo Bay moderate the climate, lengthening the growing season and producing Pinot Noir grapes with balanced acidity and ripe, expressive flavours.
