“White Zinfandel is made from Zinfandel — a grape so dark it’s nearly black. An accidental experiment in the early ’70s gave us this wonderful pink spin-off, which took the wine world by storm and still holds its own today.
Soft and refreshing with a clean finish, this medium-bodied wine bursts with flavours of sweet plums and red berries.
The gentle sweetness (around a 2–3 on the scale) makes it a wine everyone can enjoy. Even those who usually prefer dry wines won’t find anything to complain about with a glass of this pink beauty.
