Wildbrew Philly Sour has it all. It produces moderate amounts of lactic acid for that wonderful, citrusy sour taste. Additionally, unlike the vast majority of sour yeasts, it is also capable of producing alcohol. No more souring, boiling off the souring agent, and then fermenting with ale yeast in a second step!

Philly Sour is perfect for Berliner Weisse, Gose, American Lambics, American Wild Ales, and its resistance to hops makes it perfect for Sour IPAs. Expect refreshing acidity and stone fruit notes. Aroma includes red apple and peach.

This strain attenuates highly and flocculates very well.

Ferment at 20 to 25°C.
