"What I really like about Sauvignon Blanc is that although it is a dry wine, it has a balanced acidity that doesn’t leave you puckering.  The complex character is hard to describe for a lot of folks so bear with me when I say that it has ‘grassy notes’.  Try a glass and think ‘fresh mown lawn’.  You’ll see. 

It also has full fruity flavours with notes of gooseberry (remember all the hype about the marketing of ‘cat’s pee on a gooseberry bush?  Well, there is no pee in this!!) but it does have notes of lime & tropical fruit too!
